Self-Sovereign Manifesto

Build Financial, Physical & Mental Resilience

“If uncertainty is unacceptable to you, it turns into fear.
If it is perfectly acceptable, it turns into increased aliveness, alertness, and creativity.”

Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth

The history of our species is marked by various forms of governance—monarchies, aristocracies, dictatorships, and democracies. In reality, these are just front ends, while the API1 and backend have largely remained the same. Even when we shift our perspective from West to East, these changes in governance front ends follow a similar pattern.

Who controls the abstraction that can purchase kinetic power holds real power. In other words, true power lies with those who can align and drive the gears. The alternative is to be sovereign and disconnect oneself.

What abstraction am I referring to? Money.

If you control the issuance of a currency, you can devalue its unit value for purposes of governance and conquest; in other words, you bleed your citizens to obtain more power and pursue your goals.

In parallel with my writings on this blog and my deepening understanding of investing, my main reflection has always been on the role of money—initially in my own life, and later in society as a whole.

Thinking about money inevitably leads to reflections on time, how we use our limited time, and the opportunities we unlock through it.

I realized that my quest began long ago when I started exploring nutrition and fitness. In hindsight, I see this as one lever at our disposal to become less reliant on others and more sovereign—protecting our well-being and health while increasing our lifespan as healthy individuals.

Finance taught me to invest my money in superior assets for the long term and to compound my energy by buying back my time.

The final piece of the puzzle was realizing that while relying on governments, banks, and unstable governance structures may be necessary, achieving true sovereignty also requires a bearer digital asset as a key part of the equation.

Once I completed the first part of the quest—which was mostly preparation—I realized that this was the endgame, yet only the beginning. Time and energy are precious, and every precious resource must be exchanged only for something even more valuable.

These precious resources, combined with our collective ability to think and invent, should be used to buy back our time, eat better food, and extend the focus and time we dedicate to study.

But to do so, we must learn how quality is built and strive to invest in quality—whether in people, food, companies, assets, or the content we consume.

I’m convinced that through study, we can identify what our society needs most.

By consuming high-quality content and connecting the dots, we can discover a personal mission—Something that enables us to use our passions and capabilities to their fullest potential, improve society, and give our lives meaning.

I find history particularly valuable as a compass to understand who we are in the grand scheme of things, and to guide us in taking action to position ourselves where we want to be. Often, we realize we are merely consumers or secondary actors supporting the main character. But no one can stop us from rising—or at the very least, from living life as an adventure, one where we aim to be impactful, gather resources and knowledge, and ultimately risk everything to live our greatest story.

“only a small proportion of any generation can be so freed from economic harassments as to have leisure and energy to think their own thoughts instead of those of their forebears or their environment; and he learns to rejoice if he can find in each period a few men and women who have lifted themselves, by the bootstraps of their brains, or by some boon of birth or circumstance, out of superstition, occultism, and credulity to an informed and friendly intelligence conscious of its infinite ignorance.”

Will Durant, The Renaissance.

This blog, in its entirety, was born as a way to provide readers with the building blocks I’ve come to realize are most important at this stage of my journey.

Improving decision-making is becoming increasingly important in the age of AI. An authentic perspective, peace of mind, and emotional stability are essential for connecting the dots across our knowledge—and they represent a true competitive advantage.

Financial resilience means understanding what money truly is and knowing how to diversify wealth—not only to hedge against unexpected events tied to specific assets or companies, but also to identify the most reliable asset during critical societal situations.
In essence, we are searching for the most powerful abstraction.

I use the term abstraction deliberately:

  • The money you use can be devalued.
  • The paper representing ownership is only as strong as the legal system enforcing it.
  • The gold stored in your home can be seized.

Diversification, therefore, requires a deep understanding of the idiosyncratic risks tied to each abstraction that claims to preserve your wealth.

Your most precious wealth is your health. Ultimately, your ability to face physical challenges is fundamental. Money is an abstraction, while the most critical events you may face in life are likely physical—whether confronting violence or surviving adversity and aging in the best possible shape.

Still, even more valuable than physical strength is mental strength. I’ve come to realize that mental strength is the result of an equation that relates wisdom to rationality.

“Man’s mind is his basic tool of survival. Life is given to him, survival is not. His body is given to him, its sustenance is not.”

Ayn Rand

Knowledge is the protein your mind needs. It requires time-tested content to triangulate what’s happening today, along with the authentic perspectives of the few who are a step ahead on the path to self-sovereignty.
I’m referring to the rare individuals across the world who are irreplaceable by a chatbot—not NPCs, but minds shaped by years of training, constant challenge, and an unrelenting pursuit of truth.
Thanks to the internet, these people are now within reach, and their insights are essential to triangulate your own views.

But opinion alone is not enough. You must take risks based on those views.
We live in an era of endless debate—just as in the past. But ultimately, your personal situation is shaped not by your thoughts, but by the actions you take.

“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity”
Sun-Tzu

We are heading into hard times. The matrix is becoming unstable, and many threats are clouding the horizon. But as Computer Science teaches us, strong nodes make a network resilient.

This leads to a key point: a network becomes stronger when its nodes are connected. But for that to happen, they must share a common protocol—a set of behaviors and semantic tools that enable mutual understanding and strengthen their relationships.

In the past, we considered physical proximity as our network, and geography-based culture as the protocol.
The internet has completely changed this paradigm.

Every citizen of the internet has likely experienced a moment when the knowledge they’ve gathered—and the unique perspectives offered by cyberspace—has updated their worldview so significantly that spending time with ‘normies’ becomes uncomfortable.
These are people who shape their models of reality by syncing with limited geographic norms and the biased narratives of mainstream media.

The goal of my blog is to provide practical tools for the Netizen to grow stronger and more resilient—together.
If you know how to invest wisely, eat better, and build psychological resilience, you’re better equipped to withstand the social pressure that comes when your perspective diverges from the mainstream tribe.

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened.”

Nietzsche F.

The vagaries of society matter less when you possess practical tools to take control of your well-being—but that requires taking full responsibility for your life.

“Man’s mind is his basic tool of survival. Life is given to him, survival is not.”

Ayn Rand

World cycles resemble a sine2 wave, and—as every engineer knows—at some point, the output begins to rise again.

The key difference between our species and a sine function is that, over the long term, humanity follows an upward trajectory.
Inflection points represent hard times—but they are rich in opportunity for the prepared mind:
For those who kept working on themselves during the easy times.
For those who understood and applied the true meaning of the word comfort.

The modern English word “comfort” comes from Latin:

com- (together)

fortis (strong)

→ “comfortare” = to strengthen greatly.

Unfortunately, we’ve distorted the meaning of comfort. Semantics are often manipulated—by others or even by ourselves—to create alibis that justify indulging our instincts, being lazy, or more broadly, giving up.

But remember: lies come with a price—the inability to distinguish reality from illusion. And illusions always end. Eventually, reality knocks at the door.

“You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.”

Ayn Rand
