The person behind DS Compounding

Davide Somazzi.

Artificial Intelligence developer

Based in Lugano, Ticino, I develop software that connects documents, knowledge and people. Through DS Compounding, I bring local models and operational memory into workflows, with a particular focus on control over data and human review.

Final-year Computer Science Engineering student at SUPSI.

A few lines about the workflow you want to improve are enough to start.

How I work

Useful software. Control over your data.

My work starts with a practical question: where are time and knowledge being lost? I design tools that help people find information, reuse experience and coordinate work, while keeping review and decisions with the team.

  1. Start with the actual work

Understand requests, documents and handovers between colleagues to identify a specific problem to address.

  2. Design around your data

Prioritise local models and define where processing happens, who needs access and how the software fits into your environment.

  3. Keep people in control

Make proposals reviewable and keep the team responsible for responses and decisions.

DS Compounding

From principle to prototype.

The project presented here explores case management with operational memory, document understanding and coordinated contributions. The demonstration uses the current public-sector prototype; applications in other sectors require adaptation that we can assess together.

The thinking continues on the blog.

DS Compounding is also a personal space for knowledge and growth over time. The blog brings together reflections beyond software.

Longer-term experiments

What else I’m exploring.

Alongside my main work on local AI, two early projects explore ownership and coordination on Bitcoin.

CHFb Wallet

Prototype

Exploring a Swiss-franc-denominated asset on Bitcoin, using RGB. The longer-term ambition: ownership with cash flow, governed by explicit rules.

CHFb Agent Swarm

Pre-alpha research

Can multiple agents check one another before an action is approved? A research lab for independent review, shared decisions and a replayable audit trail.
